Cupid: Match

In their words:
Here's the very short story of us.

We met for a margarita at Esperanto on Avenue C after work one hot day in July.
February came, we road-tripped to Quebec City for Winter Carnival. Jesse thought I was a good ski buddy.
We decided to go steady.

I learned to ride a bike again.

We spent a lot of time in Brooklyn, on barstools and on bike seats.
We ate loads of oysters and burgers and stuff from the international aisle of Trader Joe's.

One sunny Saturday, we got on the LIRR to Montauk.
Biked some crazy hills to the lighthouse.
Jesse had a ring in his pocket.

He was nervous. He might have been sweating.
I might have said no.
But I meant yes. I was nervous too.

We ate with the locals, crashed a party, danced to some cover bands at the Memory Motel.
We biked home tipsy.
I was wearing a dress.

Montauk Marriage

Super laid back, stunning Johnny and Joanna had a low key wedding under a huge tree behind Sole East Restaurant and Hotel in Montauk. Guests fanned themselves with hand-painted fan programs designed and painted by Joanna. The photographer groom wore Converse sneakers and the stylish stylist bride went barefoot. The dessert table was manned by Johnny and Joanna--kind of like a late night extra special receiving line with extra incentive. Yum.
