Lis and Greg should have met when they were 5 years old. They lived 2 blocks from each other in Manhattan, went to brother/sister high schools, attended the same social events, but as things in NYC go, it took a party in another state to bring them together. He pursued her, she tried to take it slow, she knew she was done.
He proposed in Costa Rica on the beach in Tamarindo. She cried, they laughed, she accepted. Then they got to spend 8 days surfing, eating, and being alone together.
During the ceremony, on the beach in Bridgehampton, they literally glowed. The sun shined through her veil and lit up the chuppah. Really truly magical. Not to mention, it was the first day of the entire summer that wasn't 100 degrees.
