Pretty Pretty Long Island City

Becky and Morgan were married under a colorful quilt sewn by Morgan's mother at The Foundry LIC.  What a magical place for a wedding, an ivy covered 19th Century Foundry in the middle of industrial Long Island City.  I am also a new fan of the brunch wedding.  Who in NY doesn't love brunch?  The Cleaver Company does such a fantastic and photogenic and delicious job--the desserts looked so yummy too.
BTW it rained and we got stuck under a tent for the ceremony, etc. yet that darn place still looks gorgeous.

The always sweet and cool Kate O'Donnell from Green Apple Weddings did the "day of" coordinating for this wedding at The Metropolitan Building in Long Island City for Sharon and Mike.
I created a photo booth against on of the bare walls by taping beautiful fabric up and dragging one of the many great retro pieces of furniture in front of it. We lit it with strobes, put a camera on the tripod, and gave the guests a remote control trigger to take their own photos. It was a HUGE hit. There must be 150 shots of people kissing.
