Our "wedding" was how we envisioned the perfect celebratoin - no pressure, kick ass party, breaking all the rules! I wore red because I never dreamed about a wedding - I wanted a red carpet moment. We did the ceremony the day before out in East Hampton with only those who mean the most to us, again everything was in our own way- walked into the site and the ceremony 5 min before, met the judge for the first time, signed the papers and went to celebrate with a huge dinner and LOTS of drinks at the American Hotel. No need to rehearse - we were hitched! Then Saturday was just an amazing party. All our friends and family came in and we ate great food and danced the night away. No need for tradition, we made our own.

Stylish at City Hall

Boy, they sure have revamped City Hall's Marriage Bureau. What a lovely space. The giant windows, the long hallway, my gorgeous stylish bride and groom. I was transported back in time. The cool green sofas. The crazy purple marriage room. The lovely sweet judge.

This looks soooooooooo pretty.  If you see the magazine, buy it.  It's a gorgeous magazine.  This is from The Cape and The Islands Spring issue just on the stand snow.  Amy and Jesse's wedding at the Bourne Farm in Falmouth, Ma. last summer.  That's her Mom's wedding dress, by the way.
